DENVER (KDVR) -- After two possibly related homicides on the South Platte River Trail last week, Denver police are hoping to get more information about a suspect.A woman was shot and killed after midnight on Sept. 6 near East 45th Avenue and North Washington Street. Three days later, a man was shot and killed after midnight near South Platte River Drive and West Florida Avenue.A map shows where 2 unhoused people were found dead in Denver just days apart, both are believed to be homicides. Colorado deputies fired after repeated Taser use on man

DENVER (AP) — Two Colorado sheriff's deputies were fired after an investigation found their repeated use of Tasers against a man, including in his lower lip, was unjustified, the Las Animas County Sheriff's office confirmed Monday.Deputy Mikhail Noel and Lt. Henry Trujillo violated a number of agency policies, including inappropriately using a Taser against Kenneth Espinoza while he was handcuffed and inaccurately reporting what happened, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. SAN DIEGO -- A law enforcement pursuit crash on Monday afternoon is causing major traffic delays on Interstate 805 in the Sorrento Valley area, authorities said.The pursuit, which started in Orange County, ended in a collision on I-805 southbound near Sorrento Valley Road and Vista Sorrento Parkway, according to California Highway Patrol.SkyFOX was over the scene around 4 p.m., where traffic could be seen backed up for several miles.
