Jade Pedro, Roberto Pedro Dead after DUI Crash near 40th Street [Phoenix, AZ] DUI Accident near Van Buren Street Left 2 FatalitiesPHOENIX, AZ (October 23, 2023) – On Monday morning, Jade Pedro and Roberto Pedro died following a DUI crash near 40th Street.It occurred near the area of 40th and Van Buren Streets just after 7:00 a.m., October 16th.According to the Phoenix Police Department, a white passenger vehicle was occupied by three people, the driver was identified as 49-year-old Roberto Pedro and a passenger was named 19-year-old Jade Pedro.Furthermore, the authorities learned that a gray SUV ran over a red light at the intersection heading eastbound on Loop 202 freeway access road.As a result, the driver crashed into the white vehicle traveling northbound on 40th Street. Unfortunately, Jade was pronounced dead at the scene.Consequently, the paramedics transported Roberto, the other passenger, and the driver of the SUV to the hospital for treatment. Livermore gun store owner fatally shot would-be robber, police say (KRON) -- A Livermore gun store owner shot a Redwood City man to death when he allegedly attempted to steal a firearm from the store, according to police.
